You may think pregnancy loss is very rare.
Unfortunately, it’s not.

In every group of five women,

at least one has suffered a loss.

She may be sitting at your table in shul.

She may be schmoozing with you in the park.

She may be waiting with you at the bus stop.

But behind her smile is a secret pain.

A story that may be too painful for her to ever share.

Because some stories

that begin with joy

don’t end that way…

Knafayim helps ease

the heartbreak

of pregnancy loss

with compassion and unconditional support .

When there seems to be no way to hold

the pain, Knafayim steps forward.

Because we believe every woman

should be given the space and support

to grieve in her own way.

No situation is too complex.

No loss is too  early to be acknowledged.

No journey is too long to be supported.

Knafayim has many programs in multiple locations

serving the many women dealing with pregnancy loss.

Your support allows us to be there.

It’s been many years since our loss.

The pain has faded, and Bh we’ve made many simchos. But there are some things I can never ever forget. That phone call when we were grieving and felt so alone…that package. I felt that finally someone gets me, someone understands! The music CD and the teleconferences gave me the kochos to push forward.May Hashem give you the kochos to keep helping Klal Yisrael!

How can I put my feelings into words?

How do I explain what it meant to just BE and FEEL without judgment? Or fear of being misunderstood? It was so liberating! Like a good, deep breath to keep going! The words of chizuk resonated and stayed with me. I keep replaying it in my mind, over and over. Thanks tons!

I have no words, but my heart is full of thanks.

In this very lonely journey of loss, you have made it a little less lonely. You validated and normalized incredibly painful thoughts and feelings. As my journey continues and we try again, I know we ride on the weeks of hope, chizuk, and support you provide.

Esther

There are no words to express our hakaras hatov for your dedication

Your efforts on behalf of our dear son and daughter-in-law, Sruly and Devoiry, a young couple who were trying to handle and navigate a very difficult situation by themselves. You literally swooped in and made the difficult decisions as pain-free as possible. You’re being there for them every step of the way, answering questions in the middle of the night and giving them much needed guidance and advice at every turn was a gift that can never be repaid.

Joining the Knafayim

community is a chance

to get involved in helping

women just like you.

A young wife experiencing her first loss shortly after her wedding…

A mother of several children experiencing something she never imagined…

A grandmother who never dealt with a loss only she remembers…

She may be your next-door neighbor, live in your community, or share your name.

Or she may live somewhere far across the world.

But whoever and wherever she is, she’s your sister.

By joining the Knafayim community, you do what family does best –

you show how much you care.
